As with all feelings, one person's happiness is not necessarily the same as another's. Do you know what makes you happy at work? Test your ideas against Dan's ideas in his article.
Do you align or do you want more?
I would add that the absence of things makes us happy, such as bosses who take things for granted, fail to listen, or fail to be consistent or at least keep some semblance of logic in setting direction.
What makes you happy list is definitely worth writing and reviewing occasionally. Considering broadening the list might also improve our flexibility of approach to be happy in more situations. E.g. what is on the fringes of our happiness? (E.g. We might even recognise what to tweak to increase happiness!)
